Those who want to try their hand at this venture must not go far, on the contrary, it is enough for them to walk a little way to reach the Carinthian section of the path. Arriving from Slovenia and Styria, the route starts in Lavamünd (Carinthia) and then follows the Drava valley (Drautal) to Oberdrauburg where, on the border with East Tyrol, it joins with the Tyrolean stretch of the route.
